Copper is the most important mineral resource in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
This versatile red metal is also a critical component for over 400 alloys, owing to its beneficial physical properties such as high electrical and thermal conductivity, as well as superior strength, ductility, and corrosion resistance. As a prominent manufacturer in the Katanga region, our Copper production volume stands at ~30,000 MT.

We source quality ore from our captive mines and use a hydrometallurgical extraction process to produce LME (Grade A) Copper cathodes that serve the copper requirements of our diverse global customer base. Moreover, Odumuga is also developing a 30,000 MT cathode processing plant at Masisi which would expand our Copper cathode production to ~60,000 MT in near future.
